10 tips on how to write a storyboard:
- Set direction and show progress (if you tell people where they are going ahead of time, you make a difference in recall)
- Use key words as on-screen text (not full sentences)
- Make it visual
- Make it interactive (actively involving learners is key)
- Ask questions (e.g. multiple choice questions, drag and drop questions, matching questions) – a question serve as a break and encourage learners to think (always provide feedback)
